LUNN, Louise Joan Age 77, of Mountain Road, Three Mile Plains, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mona (DeMont) Dykens. Louise was a faithful employee at the Windsor Hospital for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, who had a warm heart and a kind soul. Louise loved baking, reading, eating at restaurants, Christmas, watching TV, going to Matthew's dances and being with her family. She is survived by sons, Michael (Judy); Tony; Gary (Ramona); Matthew (Kim); Rickey (Pauline); Jerry (Carrol); and Tootie (Joan); daughters, Joan (J.P. Maurais); and Tammy; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Jean Reynolds and Nancy (Reid) Davis; brother, Charlie. Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by husband, Randolph Sherman and first husband, Ivan Lunn; sons, Donnie and Victor; daughter, Helena; daughter-in-law, Ruthie; great-grandson, Michael; sisters, Beulah and Shirley; brothers, Gordon and Bertrum. A very special thank you to the kind and compassionate nursing staff on unit 200 at the Hants Community Hospital and many staff at the Infirmary. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9 in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, Rev. Virginia DeAdder officiating.
