Obituary of Maxine Ruth Davison

Maxine passed away peacefully in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth on Sunday, July 9, 2023.  Born in Waterville, Hants Co., she was one of eight siblings from the family of the late Guy and Maude (Swinamer) Collicut and the loving wife of the late George Stuart Davison. 

Maxine is survived by her granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Davison; sister, Irene Allen (Windsor Elms); and many nieces and nephews.

She was also very fond of her beloved, predeceased grandson, Scott Douglas Davison.

Maxine spent a majority of her career managing a female clothing store in Windsor. She enjoyed a long and productive retirement, travelling to many fabulous places with her family and friends. She was an avid square dancer as well. Maxine was also known for making world class apple pies and lots of wonderful cookies. 

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). Maxine was laid to rest beside her beloved husband George at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor on July 21, 2023. Donations in memory of Maxine can be made to a charity of one's choice.
