Obituary of Jean Edna Reynolds

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jean Edna Reynolds. Jean died peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on October 8, 1944 to the late Peter and Mona (Demont) Dykens.

Jean worked many years at Payzant Memorial Hospital and later Hants Community Hospital. Jean was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Hants County Branch No. 009, Windsor.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda; sister, Nancy (Reid) Davis; brother, Charlie Dykens; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Ormand Reynolds; sisters, Beulah, Shirley and Louise.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). No visitation or service at Jean’s request. Interment will take place, along with her husband, in Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
