I am so sorry about Uncle Gordie, I remember he always made me laugh and always was joking around with us. Gordie would always try to help anyone anyway he could. Will miss him,now he will be with his true love Aunt Ruby.

I remember the first time I met Nanny Ruby and Gramps. Two of the most kindest, descent people I've ever met. In the years married to their granddaughter I've spent many hours playing bingo, helping out with projects around the house, mending fences, cutting wood, etc. Gordy and Ruby found no fault in people and only kind words were spoken from the pair of them. He treated his animals (in which he had many of, throughout the years) as if they were people. Which showed just how kind they were. I've only known them to work hard their whole lives in order to take care of any family needs. I know for a fact that when Nanny Ruby passed, it left a major void within him. As I'm sure it did with most people who knew her. But Gordy being the man he was continued to push on in life like he always had. And now with the passing of Gordy a great matriarch of the family has been lost. I can now only hope that wherever he is, he's reunited with the loved ones of his family that have passed before him. And I'm sure he's telling them all, "the story of his travels there." Gramps(Gordon), I will always remember the stories of "the good ol' days" that you have told me over the many times that we had worked together. They are etched in my memory, as you and Nanny Ruby always will be. You will be sadly missed, you are loved by all.

Barbie. I am sorry for not making it to visitation or the funeral. I always thought a lot of both of your parents as I spent quite a bit of time at their place when they lived in Brooklyn. Take care and keep all your good memories. Judy
