Dear Barb, Levi, Jasmin and family,
My memories of Bruce and your family are such a big part of my childhood memories; it was upsetting to hear he had been unwell and passed away ❤️ My husband Joshua and I are very sorry for the pain you are experiencing as a family.
It was the Tait family that started our family camping and looking back I realize how much Bruce taught us. Our family learned what a “bush pee” was! We wish we could be there in person to grieve with you but instead we send you all our love and wanted to let you know we are thinking and praying for your comfort and look forward to seeing Bruce again.

Sincere condolences to the Tait family.
Bruce, I'm going to miss our friendship, conversations and stories we were able to share! You were a great friend, coworker and you taught me so much while you were working in Toronto. Your positivity and leadership has made me grow as a person over the past 5 years and I enjoyed our monthly pub nights and our CFL game before you moved out to Nova Scotia.

Bruce was a great boss and friend, he was very passionate about the fire alarm industry but he also loved CFL football . We had many debates about who was better the Riders or Ticats and it was fun to see him wear TiCat swag to a Rider game when he lost a bet with me. Bruce also enjoyed fishing and enjoying a pint of some terrible tasting beer. The thing I will miss the most is his conversation ,a quick short text and his friendship

I worked with Bruce when he moved to Halifax. He was always very helpful and a fountain of knowledge. Enjoyed having beers with him on a few occasions and was very saddened to hear of his loss. RIP.

Dear Barb, Jasmine and Levi:
We were so terribly sad to hear about Bruce’s passing. I don’t think we ever gave up hope that he would be with us a lot longer. We are gonna miss our pal.
We will always be so grateful that Bruce took a chance on us, offering both of us an opportunity to work for him at Alsask Fire.
We have him to thank for so many amazing experiences: people we have had the privilege of working with (like the three of you!), places we have been able to visit, foods we have been able to try (even the toasted peanut butter and smoked oyster sandwich wasn’t totally horrible ;) and more good memories and laughs than we could ever count!
Most of all we have his generous spirit and work ethic to always look up to and aspire to.

I first met Bruce in 1998. Even before we said one word to each other we both had a smirk on our face “like we knew each other forever” and so started our friendship. Bruce was & always will be “just what you see”! Honest & loyal don’t even come close. If you could make someone up in your imagination as the best friend & coworker you could have, Bruce was more. Never negative or judgemental, always looking & finding the best in every situation.
I enjoyed every second I spent with him in person & on our calls.
Bruce holds a very special place in my life & I will cherish his friendship & brotherhood until we meet again. I hope & wish that everyone has a “Bruce” in their life.
