Obituary of Frances Mary Blinn
Age 95, of Falmouth, Hants Co. It is with great sorrow that the family of Frances M. Blinn announce her sudden passing at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Born in Vaughan on August 8, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Nina (Rafuse) Church.
Frances was a very sweet, kind, loving wife, mother and friend. She loved her family and all company that would visit at her home and at Dykeland. Frances worked as a telephone operator at MT&T in her early years, a job she loved. She was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church in Windsor. Frances will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Frances was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnne (Steve) Campbell; plus many wonderful nieces and nephews, their families and wonderful in-laws.
Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Nelson Blinn; ten sisters and two brothers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 1, Rev. Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. A reception will be held in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre.
