It is with much shock and sadness that we have learnt of Joey's passing. Joey did several electrical jobs for us at our home in the Crossing. Always polite, courteous, and professional we considered him as a good friend. Our sincerest sympathies to his partner, son, and entire family members. Joey will be dearly missed.

Sincere condolences at this sad time. I met Joe when I moved to The Crossing - he installed all my appliances and did electrical work in my home. Sincere condolences to friends and family of Joe. When we moved to Nova Scotia 4 years ago, Joe was one of the first persons we met. Besides doing some work for us, he spent hours at our home telling us about the life, adventures and history of Windsor. He was so dedicated and helpful and full of love for many. He was respectful of the folks at Garlands Crossing and helped out in many ways. We will keep him in our hearts and memories forever. Thank you for the short time you spent in our lives Joe.

So very sorry to hear of Joey's passing. I am lost for words....joey was a very unique man who I thought the world of. Had many deliveries with Swinamers Home Building Center in my boomtruck to hIm and had known him through friends and his and my family. He's been helping my family with electrical repairs. I am just lost for words and my sincere condolences to Joey's family and all of his great friends. There is no replacement for this kind gentleman and he will truly be missed in my heart forever. Dear Maribel, I just learned of Joe’s death and am so very sorry for you and your son, as well as the whole family. Joe did electrical work for me in Garlands Crossing and later brought you and your son to visit me. To all of Joey’s family,
I was so sad to hear of Joey’s passing. We met when we were quite young, via our parents. Even though we never really hung around the same crowds he was always very friendly to me when we did hang out. I have fond memories of him from when we were teens and crossed paths at parties. Then we lost touch after high school as people often do but I often wondered how he was doing when something reminded me of him. I’m sure he will be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to you all.

Truly in utter shock... Joe, we had a blast working together, going for coffees, our laughs our cursing and swearing (in fun of course). Our hunting trips to cape Breton, Burnt Lake fishing trips... you'll really be missed pal! Hi, this is Jeff barkhouse from Poplar Grove grew up with Joey as his mom lived two doors down on the weekends. He would come spend time there and we would hang out ride dirt bikes and bring his three wheeler and then most of the summers together. We built a Camp in 1984 up behind Tom Malcolm’s and it lasted a good 30 years. Lots of memories of camping and fishing together. condolences to any family members reading this and friends.
Next ride I take on my dirtbike will be dedicated to Joey Janes, RIP buddy
