I first met George when he was a driver for Valley Waste. He had a love for dogs and our lab, Malo was very fond of George & "the Cookie Truck!" Malo would patiently wait for George & often he & I would chat about a shared passion of wartime history. He loved to build models of military equipment. Perhaps he & Malo will be reunited in the next world.

So sorry to hear of George's passing and I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. George became a very good friend during his years in the West Nova Scotia Regiment. He was hardworking , dedicated, and very loyal during his time served. George was A Coy stores man which envolved making sure whatever the men in his company needed to do their job, he had it at the ready.. He was exception at his job.. We were very pleased he joined the Regimental Association where he always attended functions and was the first one to volunteer when called upon. Many times George visited my home and we often met for a meal out. Cpl George Paddock served our country well and will never be forgotten by his fellow West Novas. RIP George. Semper Fidelis!
