Susan was a very positive person. She was a fighter and was on a goal to live a longer more active life. I had the privilege of exercising beside her at the Valley Regional Hospital, Cardiac Rehab Program. We became friends and would share some of our lives with each other. I instantly liked her. It is shocking to hear of the passing of my cousin Susan. She was very close to me in age and reminds me of the fragility of life itself and how we usually take good health for granted. I am having tons of childhood memories flood back-like playing crib for hours at Susan’s kitchen table, smelling the rum cake that Art just pulled from the oven, dinners together, riding our bikes together all around Windsor Forks and listening to music together. Susan was a bit older but she always was kind to me and included me. She was a kind and loving person and I am so sad to hear this news of her passing! I send special hugs to Bette and Ashley. Susie was such a sweet person. We had lots of laughs together around the campfire at the campground we sang karaoke together many nights on her deck having so much fun. Spend many nights at our campfire with Susie and Sharon the last ones up to see the sunset .she was such a great friend and will be missed so much.
