Obituary of Charlie Trueman Hirschfeld

Age 87, of Cambridge, died on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Goldenville, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Frank and Edna (Pye) Hirschfeld.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Ida (Smith); daughter, Wanda, Morgan Hills, California; sons, Frank (Michele), Cambridge and Charlie (Maureen), Windsor Forks; grandchildren, Cory (Allison), Bramber; Brandon (Emma), Bramber and Kaitlyn (Logan), Cambridge; four great-grandsons; sister, Marie MacDonald, Clam Harbour; brother, Paul (Linda), Fenwick; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Charlie was predeceased by sisters, Annie Mullens, Eva Rosenblad and Sadie Goesch.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Respecting Charlie’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
