Windsor Curling Club posted a condolence

It is with deep regret that our Windsor Curling Club "Day League" participants (and other Club members) learned of Paul's sudden passing, only a day after participating in a Friday curling session. Paul was a quiet and unassuming "gentleman", in the true sense of that word, and a skilled curler at all team positions. Everybody who met and played with him loved Paul's demeanour and respectful, friendly competition. We will greatly miss his steady presence in the locker room, and on the ice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Mildred, daughters Naomi & Sara and their families. Heartfelt condolences are also extended to his close relatives, especially to our day curling comrade (& frequent skip), John Rozee (& his wife Vera).

We were very sorry and shocked to read of Paul’s passing. He was always so generous with his time and talents when you lived in Vaughans. Whenever there was an event or a need at the United church Paul was always available. This same generosity was also evident at the fire hall in Vaughans. He was a “gentle giant” who would make himself available whenever there was a need.
