Carol and Marina, I am sorry to hear of your loss of Ray. I missed his obituary and also missed the celebration of his life at the Legion, sorry about that.
I met Ray in Cornwallis in 1990 along with Carol, Marina and her baby son. I knew from the start Ray was a very nice supporting person, I also knew him in Windsor, my wife Chris also liked him.
Ray will be missed and wished I had of kept more in touch but I will always remember him.

I worked with Ray with the cadet program. He would sit quietly in his corner of the room doing paperwork. Then a new cadet would come in and Ray would help them out in a very quiet and soothing voice to sort out their paperwork. He was so kind and generous to those cadets and showed his true spirit to help them out in any way he could. I got to know him very well at that time. Ray, I know you will be missed. RIP my friend. Condolences to Carol and family as well from us.

i have known Ray and his wife, for years. Such a truly amazing man with a warm and caring heart when it came to how he treated others. Always a smile and a hello, taking time out of his day to stop for a chat. All of the church suppers he helped at too. He will be deeply missed by all of us. I sincere sympathy to all of his family.
