I was so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. I met her years ago when I worked at Pharmasave. I always looked forward to seeing her. She met everyone she encountered with a warm smile. Joan always made me laugh when she was being her quirky self telling a joke or just having fun shopping, chatting with everyone. She was a wonderful woman. She will sadly be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I was so shocked to hear of Joan’s passing.
We started school together at age 5, a long time ago. She remained the same kind and friendly girl the rest of her life. Always the same when we met and so proud of her girls

I had known Joan for a very long time, dating back to our early teenage years. She was a pleasure to be around, no matter what the circumstances, Joan always had something nice to say. I thought of her as a remarkable individual and a loyal friend. She never had to be reminded of her roots and treated all who knew with dignity and respect. I felt blessed and indeed privileged to call her “friend.” If there is a heaven, Joan certainly deserves a place there.

So sad to see her gone so suddenly. I will miss seeing Joan’s comments on my fb page pics- she always had something sweet to say about my pups and my adventures. Although I only met her a few times, I feel like she was part of my life and I will surely notice her absence.
