Wow, I still cannot believe this… Bob was my boss and friend. I’ve enjoyed working along side of him in the Valley and in the Comm Center. I haven’t seen Bob in years but I’m sure if we had reconnected it would be smiles, laughs and good vibes.. RIP Bob, thank you for being a friend, colleague and mentor… you will be greatly missed by so many. My condolences to all his loved ones.

Sincerest condolences and so sorry to hear about Bobby’s passing. I always thought he was kind person and pretty comical by times.
I can’t imagine how many people he has assisted over the years, not just out in the field, but training as well. I can say that I was fortunate to be one of them while in the fire service.

Bobby Brown was as solid a guy as you could find in life. When we met both running the roads in ambulances solving problems and helping people we had a blast. Bobby and I had a mutual respect. We shared the board room table as EMC’s initial Senior Leadership Team (for both of us likely too soon as we both really loved the front line work).
He was a fair man with strong morals and I know he struggled with the fall out of 30 + years helping others.Then stress related illness - so unfair. To his family and loved ones know he was admired by his peers. Thank you Bobby Brown❤️

A message for Bobby’s family;
I became a NS paramedic back in 1999 when Bobby was our Regional Manager, and his name was synonymous with respect and leadership. He took us all under his wing and did everything he could to support us throughout the worst of times; and he was the life of the party when we all needed to let-off a little steam. Those stores shall remain in the vault! LOL!
I worked very closely with Bobby on MANY projects, alongside with Marc Tremblay and the late Tom Dobson. His enthusiasm for advocating for us and our profession was infectious, and his smiles and belly-laughs equally so. We loved our Bobby!
On behalf of the medics he mentored, I’d like to offer our deepest condolences to you, his family, whom he loved fiercely. Our hearts are with you.
To honour his memory, I shall raise a glass (this time just H20!) and yell, “SOCIABLE!”. Now where have we heard that before???.

Most of my memories of Bobby are from when we were kids. He was always rather quiet (in hindsight that may have been because I talked too much and didn't give him a chance). And he had the best smile; instantly cheerful, with a natural sparkle in his eyes.
