My heart-felt sympathy goes out to all the family but especially to you, Jane. Tom fought such a terrible battle with his illness and struggled so hard to survive.....I admire his strength and even more the strength that you have had in caring for Tom whether at home or in the hospital. I know how physically exhausting and emotionally draining it must have been. I hope that you find some peace in knowing that you made his last days as pleasant and cheerful as you could ...in his own home surrounded by his loved ones and pets with beautiful Christmas decorations...because of your love and determination he was as happy and comfortable as he could be given his condition. I wish I could be at the funeral today to give you a big hug along with the many other people who love and care for you. Unfortunately, the impending storm is preventing us from venturing out on the roads. Please know that we are thinking of you and will be watching the funeral if it is telecast. Love and hugs, Linda

I was deeply saddened today to read of Tom's passing in the newspaper. Tom and I go back a long way into the 70's where with his help I built my construction business when he worked at NSSL and then London Life. I shall always remember Tom for his guiding ways and his great sense of humor.
