Owen was a kind, good man. He was as good friend to my father for as long as I remember. Owen used to shoe our oxen, fit our yokes and travel to many pulls and shows with us. Through my 41 years of knowing Owen, we've shared many laughs. I enjoyed the sound of his laugh, and how I could get his whole body to shake with a good joke. Occasionally, he'd even slap his knee and shake his head when the punch line came. Maybe my jokes were funny, or maybe he enjoyed bringing me joy. I'm not Sue which, but we sure did have a lot of fun sitting on tack boxes together. I know he will be dearly missed, his family meant so much to him. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
