Bruce, Stacey and Amy, My family was blessed by having Shari as a friend. My girls sent me a message saying "what a lovely person she was to grow up with". How true this is! I shared many laughs with Shari, enjoyed visits in Falmouth, and by phone. She always spoke with pride and love for each of you. Stacey, you gave her the best gift any mother could be given - a granddaughter. Shari was so proud of you. The twinkle in her eyes when she showed me pictures of Ava was so bright. Amy, your worldly travels, energy and education goals would put a smile on her face, when she updated me on your life. I know that if her health had allowed her to travel, she would have loved to go with you on occasion. Bruce, you are the love of her Shari's life. She knew that no matter what had to be done, you would get it done. I can still, see in my mind, the first day on Ridgevale when Shari, Stacey and Amy were standing on your front lawn - the beginning of a wonderful friendship. Dear Bruce, Stacey & Amy, I am so sorry to hear of Shari's death. Shari has been a long time client and I looked forward to seeing her at every visit. She was so proud of her two daughters and beamed with pride every time she some of you, that is until Ava came along. Ava always stole the show with pictures and updates of her progress. For Bruce, Stacey and Amy - our hearts go out to you all at this time - Shari was a very special lady and we treasure the memories of our Ridgevale (Bedford)neighbourhood days ..... the impromtu chats on the street, the neighbours' garden tours and the social times such as playing pool in the Sheehan's basement. Shari always had a smile for everyone and I can see her now standing in the open garage of your home, as she kept watch over all the happenings. Over the years, we have met up from time to time to catch up and she always took such pride in all of your accomplishments and was happy to share news of her family - while still wanting to know how our own family and lives were progressing. She had a gentle heart - and will be missed. No doubt she is still watching us all with interest and a smile - just from a bigger doorway now ..........

We send our deepest sympathy to you, Bruce, and your family with the loss of Shari. We got to know Shari very well on our two visits to Nova Scotia and she lovingly welcomed us into her home. Her talents in the kitchen could not be beat! Shari's Nanaimo Bars and other dainties were marvellous. Shari was so kind during our visits, both to Dennis and I and to Shawn and Russette and our two grandchildren. Shari's delight and pride when talking about her daughters, Stacey and Amy, was evident and the addition of Ava was the icing on her cake! We were so hoping you and Shari would get back to Calgary to visit but that was not to be. May you all find comfort in your wonderful memories of Shari. The Lord indeed claimed another jewel.
