I have such fond memories of Eva. She came to work for me in 1975 right after I had a new baby, Kelly ,who has just turned 40. Your Mum was such a big help to me as I was a young Mum with a new baby & 4 step children. She literally became part of our family. She or I would always reconnect every Xmas.she wanted to catch up on how we all were doing. I always remember how she loved to go to dances & play cards. She was a wonderful lady. I was so sorry when she told me she was going to retire back home to Windsor. I didn't think I could survive without her. It is too bad she didn't make it to her 100 th BD.my Mum lived til 105. May she rest in peace. She sure deserves it. Hope she did not suffer in the end Fondest memories, Margaret Huestis

Sorry to hear of Eva's passing. The boys always asked their Gram about Eva and they had to stop at her house every Halloween because she didn't get many treaters. She always had special treats and they especially enjoyed her homemade donuts. We enjoyed her company one evening at a campfire we had too. She was well entertained by the boys who made her roasted hotdogs, smores and cinnamon toast on the fire. She said it was a long time since she had that! We will always hold these memories of Eva, she lived a good full life. xo
