Dear Ann and family: I am very saddened to read of Olive's death in today's paper. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. Olive died on my birthday, March 19th. Olive and I always chatted when we met at the grocery store and we were friends for a short time at the Kingsway Pool for the aquacise program. She was a lovely lady. You will miss her a lot. May God grant you comfort and peace at this very sad time. Sincerely, Ruth

Ann, So sorry for your great loss. I worked with your Mother at the Bank of Commerce for several years, she was always so good to me, I travelled with her quite a bit too. Life truly changes when we lose a parent. The absence of their presence takes a long time to adjust to. Know that my deepest sympathy is with you and your family. Sincerely, Bonna

Please know that our deepest sympathy are with you all as you grieve the loss of someone so dear. Olive was known to our girls as the 'fudge lady' because of the many times she treated them with fudge. She will certainly be ever remembered by our family as a loving, kind, gentle lady with a huge heart. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Craig & Lorie Faulkner; Maggie, Molly & Marina

So very sorry to hear of the passing of a very loved one in your life.In the short time I knew her I found her to be a very caring and generous woman. The blanket she so lovingly knitted for my daughter will be cherished for ever and passed down through the years with a story of the woman that made it. The main man upstairs must have had a special job for such a special lady. My mom always told me they will always be around as an angels.

Ann, Ross & Scott; I was sorry to read of Olive's passing. Elaine just happened to see her obituary last night while reading the paper. I AM out of the Windsor loop. Olive, a good friend of both Jean and Alison, was so especially kind to Alison during her 2 years of difficulty at the end of life. Olive was genuine, direct and warm in her communication with my mother, something I noticed most people found difficult when someone suddenly becomes changed as she had. Olive was honest and straight forward, but managed it all with a sense of humor. I know she was not well herself in those years, yet she even invited Alison to come over for tea. I only really knew your mother as a child knows someone,Ann, but came to appreciate her depth and caring then. It will feel very different for you now she is gone, as you have had such continuous close contact with your mom your whole life. From those early years of playing together as our moms looked on, it is we now who are on the front line. My thoughts are with you today.

To Olive's Family: I was saddened to read of Olive's death in the paper this week - please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mother. I was always under the impression there was a family connection between Olive, Ena and our family but never knew just where the connection was - however, knowing we both have connections to the Levy and Vaughan families I assume we must have been second or third cousins. I have know Olive for many many years and always enjoyed a delightful chat with her, her smile always made one feel welcome. May your family and friends bring you comfort during this sad time in your lives.

Hello, i was so saddened to hear about your Mother. The last time I saw her was, unfortunately, several years ago while she was living in Windsor. Although she was really my second cousin, our family always called her Aunt Olive. Her and my Mom were great friends and we always tried to visit when we got down her way. She'll be sorely missed and always remembered with love. Your Mother was one of a kind; my condolences to you both. Jean
