Obituary of Andrew Cowl

COWL, Thomas Christopher Andrew "Andy" Age 52, of Bishopville, Hants Co., passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Born on April 24, 1962, he was a son of Thomas and Bernadette (Quinn) Cowl. Andrew was an avid hunter, fisherman and NASCAR fan. In addition to his family, Andrew will be deeply missed by his many friends across the Maritimes, as well as his colleagues and clients, as a long-time sales associate at Avon Valley Floral in Falmouth. Besides his parents, he is survived by daughter, Amanda Robertson; grandson, Rhys Robertson; sisters, Ashley (Paul) Cooper and Amanda (Rafael) Rodriguez; brother, Terry (Brandi) Cowl; grandmother, Joan Quinn; nephews, Noah Cooper and Gabriel Rodriguez; niece, Thais Rodriguez; long-time friend, Paula Chambers; aunt, Judy (Edward) Clarke; uncle, Graham (Evalyn) Quinn and many cousins. Andrew was predeceased by maternal grandfather, John Quinn; paternal grandparents, Frank and Susan Cowl; aunt, Diane Shupe and uncle, Bruce Quinn. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Elmcroft Reception Centre. Interment will be held in Bishopville Cemetery, Bishopville.
