Obituary of Grace Sarah Woodworth

Grace Sarah Woodworth - 76, Ellershouse, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at home. Born in Windsor on November 18, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Margaret (Robertson) Weatherbed. Grace was a graduate of the nursing program at St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish. During her nursing career, she worked at both Payzant Memorial Hospital and Hants Community Hospital. Grace’s neighbors would often call on her in their time of sickness for help. She immensely enjoyed her friends, her children, her grandchildren and her dogs (perhaps not necessarily in that order). They were all very special to her. Grace is survived by her daughter, Brenda Spence MacLeod (John Robert), Meadowville; son, Jeff, Ellershouse; grandchildren, Marin, Daniel and Brandon; sister, Elizabeth Ledbury, Windsor. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard “Bernie” Woodworth (April 2, 2007); sisters, Margaret Dalzell and Pauline Ritchie. At Grace’s request, there will not be a formal visitation or funeral service.
