Obituary of Victor William Power

POWER, Victor William Age 80, Hantsport, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was born in Musquodoboit Harbour on December 25, 1934 and was the son of the late William and Gladys Power. Victor was employed at Farmer's Dairy for 40 years, retiring in December 1994. He enjoyed antique cars and stationary engines and especially camping trips to Keji. Victor is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Liz Sanford (Randy); sons, Darrell and Erin (Linda); grandchildren, Mike Sanford, Lindsey Power, Alex and Emily Power and adopted great granddaughter, Lara Kretziner. Victor is also survived by sisters, Ester Rowlings (Bruce) and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Perry. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, P.O. Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). No visitation or service, by request. Burial will be held at a later date.
