Raymond and I would like to offer our condolences to you Donna and Alanna on the passing of Garnet. We will always remember him walking your little dog up past our house and always having a friendly greeting. We also remember how he helped us buying our vehicles and going above and beyond for his customers by even volunteering to take Raymond's car in when servicing needed to be done. He will be missed.

Dear Donna and Alanna,
I was saddened to hear of Garnet's passing. In my youth and through my friendship with Alanna, I met Garnet who always had a smile and obvious love and devotion to his family. In particular I remember the great time we had on a scenic motorcycle run together in the Valley. He was kind in nature and generous with his time.

Our family was so saddened to hear of Garnet's passing. While working with Garnet at Cornwallis for many years, his conversation typically turned to the topic of his immense love of you, Donna, and his special pride, joy and love of Alana. Yes, he certainly enjoyed his camping, his involvement in swimming through Alana and his career in car sales - but family was always first and foremost on his mind. Garnet was a lovely man, a great friend and he will truly be missed by many people. We send our most sincere condolences to both of you at this sad time, The Bates family.

So sorry to hear of Garnet's passing...one of my favorite moments was purchasing a Cavalier from him when he was at Cornwallis in New Minas... I drove by that car day in, day out, holding out on Garnet, I would call lookin for a better deal and he would call me saying that potential buyer was in sight...we were both looking to get the best possible deal...in the end....we were both happy...I purchased the car and drove it for 7 years.....thinking of the entire Mason and extended families at this very difficult time...
