So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember walking by Eva's house and talking to her as she stood in the window of her porch. Once, she asked how my Mom was doing and when I said she wasn't doing all that well, Eva took me to the back yard and showed me her beautiful garden. She cut some flowers for me to take home which made my Mom's day. Eva was a lovely lady and will be missed.

Very sorry to hear of Ms. Mumford's passing. I remember her as my Sunday School teacher at Windsor United Church. Always a very nice lady. She helped me get a summer job at the mill when I was going to university which I appreciated greatly. Our condolences to the family.

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Eva at the N.S. Textiles for many years and as a Union officer, We travelled to Halifax for conventions. I always enjoyed the trips. Eva was a great lady and will be missed by all who knew her

Sad to say good-bye to a remarkable woman who gave to others all her life. I worked with Eva at the textiles and was given her union torch to carry. Eva was always working to better lives and she stepped up to the plate and did her part not just in words but by her deeds.

Barbie,
I was so saddened to hear of Eva's passing. I will always remember her as the sweet lady who lived next door to us for so many years. She was always so great to Matthew and I - never forgot a birthday when we were kids. :) I still have many cards that I have saved from her.
Eva will be remembered as a kind and generous woman.
