Obituary of Earl Edison Walker

Age 76, of Falmouth, formerly of Mount Uniacke, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Dartmouth, he was the son of George Theodore and Marie Rose Anne (Gallant) Walker.
Earl was an RCMP Veteran. In his 37 years he was stationed in Kenora, Ont., Campbell River, BC and retired as a Corporal in Halifax.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Smith); sons, Derrick, Darren and Rex; daughter, Jennifer Michael; grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, Kathleen, Gregory, Skyler, Cassandra, Dylan, Nathan and Alexandra; seven great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Ivany. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bruce and Arthur; sisters, Alice Taylor and Marjorie Hyckie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where a funeral service celebrating Earl's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Elmcroft Reception Centre. Donations in memory of Earl may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society-Nova Scotia Division, 5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, 5657 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4.
