I have fond memories of visiting "horse" with Dad when I was a child! Could never imagine why someone would call their child "horse". Years later I realized "horse" was actually Oris :)
I spent a short time working at Pothier's as an adult and realized why so many people loved you!!! RIP Oris

We were so shocked and sadden to hear of Oris's passing on Thursday. Oris was a daily presence in our lives with his daily visits to Dad and his errands he ran for the Service and Parts Department at Pothier Motors. He will be greatly missed by both and especially Dad.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Oris' passing. I have know Oris since I was a child and was called"Whoppie" by him for years after having had the whooping cough. One other time when he and Dad were working in the body shop (I was about 7 or 8) he turned the paint sprayer on me, and like the car he was painting, I was a lovely shade of red. I have fond memories of Oris and ws very pleased when Philip became a friend as well. Our prayers are with all of you at this time.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. Oris was a dear friend & I always enjoyed his visits. He & Frank "fixed" so many things & "got them working". After Frank died, Oris continued to check on me & ensure everything was O.K.. Just a couple of weeks ago he figured out where the tomato & cucumbers would best grow next year.
His sudden passing leaves so many unanswered questions, but he loved each of you & was very proud of every one of you. Keep his memories and numberless stories close to your heart.
