I was so sorry to hear of your devastating loss. I live on the other side of the country and I too have a child of Epilepsy - he's 16. He has a rare progressive epilepsy that will claim his life in a few years. I live in fear every day that it will be his last - I understand your pain. But what I wanted to say is I picture your boy right now in a wonderful place and he's laughing and running, and best of all, he's seizure free. There are no sick children in Heaven. Nathan was always a smiling face at Windsor care when I would drop my son Joel off. Joel enjoyed his company while they were in the same room. I always smiled watching him play outside as he loved being pushed around on the bike by the other kids. Every time I see an amber necklace I'm reminded of him.
