So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I remember him fondly from the Shack days. He was kind and gentle. It has been years as we were teenagers, but I have never forgotten him. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP Fred!

Thinking of the family you are in our hearts Fred you will be missed you were a great friend and you were always helping people ... We all had so many memories and one I cherished was our traditional chili and deer stew we had Xmas eve for so many years ... He was a brave soul. Fred took care of both of my sons so many times (losing my youngest only once!) over a couple of decades. He kept his illness to himself, not to burden anyone. I will tip a can of Keith's and will always remember Fred.

Fred was part of our family and is remembered fondly, fishing and hunting trips, late night 'snare checking' up Panuke Lake with Fred Cochrane and the guys of the family. A quiet guy and pleasant to be around. Our condolences to the family.
