Obituary of Mildred Ellen Illsley

ILLSLEY, Mildred E. Age 82, of Falmouth, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Born in Martock, Mildred was a daughter of the late Russel and Jessie (Sweet) Redden. After years in the nursing profession, she spent her retirement years with many friends in the Bluegrass World, and was a life member of the Annapolis Valley Bluegrass Association. Mildred is survived by husband, Charles Illsley; daughters, Elizabeth (Dale) Campbell, Ottawa; Marjorie (Rick) Illsley, New Minas; sons, Bill Illsley, Lockhartville; Charlie (Cathy) Illsley, Sweets Corner; sister, Susie Wright, Martock; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Carl and Mark Redden; sisters, Gussie Heffler; Myrtle Richards; and Nellie Sherman. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Mildred's wishes, there will be no public funeral service or visitation. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Centre Falmouth Cemetery.
