BAXTER, Evelyn May
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a great lady, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Born in 1931 in Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., Mom was the daughter of the late Bob and May (Misener) Doherty.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Allan Conrad; great-grandson, Chance. She is survived by her daughter, Judi (Steve Jones), Falmouth; granddaughters, Tara Baxter (Gordon Johnson), Falmouth; Sara Lee (Mike Whitman), Dartmouth; sisters, Christine Brown, Windsor and Shirley Roy, Sudbury Ont.; brothers, Gordon Doherty, Middleton; Bob (Jean) Doherty, Lawrencetown; great-grandchildren, Josh and Kyle Whitman, Wynter Rose, Bryce and Phoenix Baxter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A public graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, October 23 in Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King St., Windsor, Rev. Rob Heffernan officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home's Elmcroft Reception Centre, 419 Albert St., Windsor. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to a charity of one's choice.
