Please accept our sincere condolences. We were very shocked to hear about Ann. A good friend for 45 years, even though we kept in touch only once a year since retirement, I will surely miss our chats and reminiscing of the good old days and Ann's humor. Sincerest sympathy to all.

Dear Wayne, "Chipie" and the family. I was deeply saddened to learn of Ann's death. She was one fine lady. I just so wish time (that seems to evaporate) had allowed me more trips to Falmouth to see her. On my walk through tears just now, I remembered our days at the CTRF "corridor ladies" as I used to refer to us as. Ann and I never made it home by Noon on Christmas Eve...always the last to leave...lucky if 2pm rolled around and we were able to flee.....We shared a few expletives every year!!! She was one of the hardest working staff and I loved my time working with her....many good laughs and curses. Ann was so terrific to come to my retirement from Cancer Care NS.....I was 66....that was 5 years ago....I wish she could have enjoyed more of the government pension she so richly deserved....I hope she is cursing the system from above in her inimitable way. I loved her straitforwardness and her passion for those dogs and fishing....she couldn't wait to escape to the quiet. I used to love hearing about it on her return. I hope you are comforted by precious memories of better days. I will hold on to the thought of her fishing peacefully for salmon, awaiting the company of friends and her dogs.... In typical Ann fashion, she slipped away without ceremony.....far too soon...I will miss her. I feel grateful to have shared time in her presence, and I hold tight to my memories of her strong spirit. Go well Wayne. Know others are thinking about you and the family. Kindest regards, Michele

I was so sorry to read of Ann's passing. We were such good friends in High School and have a lot of happy memories. Our best times were trips to the New York World's fair where we tried out different hairstyles at the Clairol pavillion and tasted pizza for the first time. We also went to Pennsylvania and rode a roller coaster for the first time. In Florida we got caught stealing oranges off a neighbour's tree but had a great time on the beach. We were there when Martin Luther King was killed and saw an American perspective on that event. All these trips wer with Don and Carol Harlin, friends of my family and patients of Dr Titus. Ann was great fun and always eager for adventure. Once I went to a Sea Cadet dance with my current boyfriend. When I got there, I was way overdressed but I didn't want to go home and change and disappoint my Mom as she had bought this very fancy party dress for me so I went over to Ann's and she lent me a skirt and sweater to wear. I was more excited to wear Ann's clothes than the party dress as her outfits were far superior to mine. Her loss will leave a big empty spot in your lives and I grieve with you. Sincerely, Grace

Dear Wayne: So sorry to hear about Ann's passing. Was always jealous that you had the most beautiful girl on Connaught Avenue. Treasure the laughs Terry H. and I had at the cottage in Hubbards way back when -- a million years ago. I think. I'm sure Wayne K, Gorge Y. and Brian B. are thinking of you and embracing you tonight. Supproring hugs for Susan. Much Love, Bob (Lunenburg) and Dave (O1ttawa) Mossman "Mouse and Moose" (QEH -- 1963-64)

Dear Wayne: We were so sorry to learn of Ann's passing. Bob and I will be forever grateful for the role you both played in our wedding so many years ago, Ann as bridesmaid and you giving the toast to the bride. You will always be in our hearts. Please accept our deepest condolences and find peace in the fond memories that you have made with Ann over the past years. Friends forever, Janis and Bob Holmes.

I am so very sorry to read of Ann's passing. We worked and partied together many, many years ago in the Radiotherapy Department at the VG. Boy, those were good days! Especially our "rumoli" nights. Great fun great friends.
