Our deepest condolences, Wayne was a good friend when we were working together as Engine Techs on A crew in Greenwood. He persuaded me to get a skidoo so we could travel the back trails, then he persuaded me to get a speed boat so we could go up and down the Annapolis river with guys from our crew. We always had a good story to tell at the Liars table in the Top Hat. I have many great memories of hanging around with Wayne from 1985-89 and a few visits after I returned from AB. Miss you Buddy

Deeply saddened to hear of Wayne's passing we were friends all throughout our military careers and after. While our meetings were few in the last years I often thought of Wayne and the wonderful adventures we had. RIP Wayne.

I remember Wayne from 14 Air Maintenance Squadron in Greenwood. We worked together on the CP140 Aurora on A Crew Snags in the early 90s until he retired. He was a "tell it like it is" guy and always enjoyed working on any engine. He will always be remembered by the technicians that he worked alongside.

Dave and I were just talking about Wayne the other day after his last trip to outpatients .Dave enjoyed spending time with Wayne while he worked on his cars and did small favors for him. Wayne was such a great character and those that knew him during his Air Force days often lived in fear of what he would say next. Wayne was well known for his caustic wit, love of Corvettes and skill as an Engine Tech. We all have a memorable "Rafuse" story to tell. Even our daughter, who fondly recalls how she got to ride in "Pepper" the black Corvette for her fourth birthday.
So long my friend, we will always remember you fondly.
