DAUPHINEE, Lois Maureen,
It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Maureen (Smith) Dauphinee announces her passing after a brief illness on Monday, October 24, 2016, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, at the age of 74.
Born in Charlottetown, PEI, on May 24, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Marion Smith. Lois loved knitting and crocheting and won many awards for her work. She had a fondness for animals, especially poodles.
Lois leaves behind her husband of nearly 31 years, Stan; children, Chris (Linda) Lockert; Timmy Lockert; step-daughters, Tracey (Richard); Brenda (Bobby); siblings, George "Butch" Ward; twin sister, Anne (Jim); Arthur (Sharon); Marion; and many nieces and nephews. Lois will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Angela and Jeffrey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). As per Lois's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
