I was saddened to hear of Isabel's passing. I frequently saw her downtown and at church. Not long ago I met your Mum at the post office and introduced her to my daughter and granddaughter, telling them she was my Home etc teacher at WRHS. I told her that day, I still had my home ec book, which I still used some of the recipes!
My late husband, Fred and his partner Blaine worked at your parents house.
Find solace in wonderful memories.
Sincerely, Prudy Fox

We had the privilege of meeting Isabel in 2003 when she joined Take 30, our ladies’ fitness centre. We looked forward to seeing her come in for her daily workout for over 4 years.
Many of our members were inspired by her determination to keep fit so she would be ready for the next season of curling.
We enjoyed discussing politics with her as well as hearing about her latest travel adventure. If for some reason Isabel didn’t come in for a workout, members would be wondering where she was and hoping all was o.k. She was missed on those days and so many are missing her now, including Pat & Pat.

To Isabel's Family:
I was very saddened to learn of Isabel's passing. I had the pleasure of being her hairdresser for 27 years. She was an amazing woman in all ways! Her thirst for knowledge became a 27 year education for me. Through her eyes (and her ipad) I got to travel the world with her and it was a wonderful journey. From week to week we shared our lives and I know she had an amazing love for her family. Keep the memories of her in your heart as she travels on her next big journey.
'Travel on Isabel my friend. I will miss you always.

Dear Aubrey, Barb and Dale.
I was deeply saddened on hearing about the loss of you mother. My oh my...what a women she was, in so many people's life. She was a staunch supporter in my life. From my days as a student of her's, on through to my curling ventures. She provided me committed support, very cherished by me, many many times in the stands of a sport that I know she so loved and successfully competed in for most of her life.
I always looked forward to seeing her on the golf course. It brightened my day, and somehow she always knew about the latest news in my world. She supported me in a way that I will never forget and will continue to inspire me. I know that I am not alone in feeling sincerely "supported" by her.
A quote by Helen Keller has given me great comfort, since we lost my sister Susan, seven years ago. "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us". I have found this to be profoundly true, and I trust you will find the same.
Unfortunately, I am in Florida this week and will be playing golf on the day of her service. Somehow, I think Isabel might be OK with this! I will have goose bumps the whole round, I am sure.
I pray that you will find peace and joy in the memories of this amazing women. Her dignity, grace, individuality and "jest for life" will be unforgettable for me! You are lucky children to have had this women as your mother. A complete inspiration.
Most sincerely, Nancy Delahunt

Dear Dale, and family;
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of you mom. I remember her fondly as a teacher, and enjoyed the classes she taught me at WRHS. In recent years, I was also very pleased to have had her as a vibrant member of our fitness club. She certainly was an energetic lady, proving that staying active after retirement was a priority.
It brought a smile to my face to see her working out at the club.
I know you will miss her deeply and at times find it challenging to go on without her physical self present in your life (lives). Please take comfort in knowing she will remain forever with you in your heart, watching over you always.
From my heart to yours, know that your mom will be missed and that I and many others are thinking of you and your mom at this time.
With sincerest condolences,
