Fond memories of my favourite teacher Jean O'Neil at Edgehill those special years of the 1950s. She taught us so much ...not just in our studies; she inspired us ...we wanted to be like her...intelligent, beautiful, vivacious, an achiever, clever, kind and wise. Like many of her students I have never forgotten Miss O'Neill and have carried her bright memory with me throughout the 65 years since we said "goodbye" on Graduation Day. Condolences to all her family who indeed were blessed to have her in their lives for
so many years.

Hello there family of Jean:
Chuck and I were saddened to read Jean's Obituary in the paper this morning.
So many happy memories and funny moments flashed through our minds.
We always thought "happy" when thinking of Jean. (Not that there were not a few words of wisdom spoken in our direction).
I myself would like to say that the years at Edgehill with Jean at the helm were very happy productive ones and full of such good memories. She had a way of letting you know quietly where you stood!
Our sympathy goes out to you all. The fact that she lived to be 95 was a bonus, but she will be missed by many and remembered by so many.
May the days ahead be filled with great memories. The comfort of family and friends hopefully will give you peace.

Dear Macdonald Family:
Very sorry to hear today about the passing of your mother, but I’m glad we got to speak about her during our recent visits and to hear how she was often laughing and in good spirits. It sounds like she lived a great life and you and your family were at peace with how she spent her final months.
And, in addition to everything else she did, she raised two great kids and I’m sure she was very proud of Gary, Lynda and her 4 grandchildren as well!
