Obituary of Keith Walter James Snelling

Age 72, of Falmouth, Hants Co., passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on January 8, 1944 in London, England, he was a son of the late Walter and Joan (Tickner) Snelling. Although born in England, in December 1966 Keith and Carol, his new bride, immigrated to Canada. Keith fell in love with Canada especially the East Coast. What was to be a two year adventure turned into a 50 year stay. Keith adored his grandchildren and had a great love for animals, especially horses, and sailing. He worked for Atlantic Bridge Company, Lunenburg, HP Nickersons, Baader International and the Federal Government. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Carol Evelyn (Ingall); daughters, Sara (Sheldon) McLellan; Karen (Jeff) Cummins; grandchildren, Kendra and Kali McLellan, Josh and Sydney Cummins; brothers, Roy (Carmelita) and Paul (Kathy) Snelling; aunt, Joyce Jeavons. The family would like to say a special thank you to Hants Community Hospital, Emergency Department. With special recognition to Dr. Kirstin Moritz, Dr. Cathryn Smith, nurses, Kellie, Kelly and Lisa, for their exceptional care shown to Keith.
