Obituary of Audrey Frances Miller

Age 84, of Melville Lodge, Halifax, formerly of St. Croix, passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2016 in Melville Lodge. Born in Poplar Grove, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mabel (Sanford) Connors.
Audrey was a homemaker and enjoyed playing her guitar.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Margaret "Maggie" (Kevin) Slate; sister, Karen (David) Hunt; brother, Roger Connors; son-in-law, Bill Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
Audrey was predeceased by her husbands, Warren Smith and Roy Miller; daughter, Brenda Sullivan.
Special thank you is given to Melville Lodge nursing staff for their care and attention given to Audrey during her stay there.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where the family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 8. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 9 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kevin Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Landing Cemetery. Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Division, 5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, 5657 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3J 3R4.
