Obituary of Ronald Arnold Trider

TRIDER, Ronald Arnold "Ronnie" Age 67, of Windsor, formerly of Three Mile Plains, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born May 21, 1949 in Windsor, he was a son of the late Gordon and Catherine (Whitehead) Trider. Ronnie enjoyed spending time outdoors going hunting and fishing; he especially enjoyed his time at the camp. He held numerous jobs over the years, finishing up in the Labourers Union. In the later years he lived for his grandchildren, they meant everything to him and were the loves of his life. Ronnie is survived by his son, Ronnie (Kim), Brooklyn; grandchildren, Michael and Ashley; brothers, Bill, Windsor; Jerry (Donna), Three Mile Plains; Doug (Barb), British Columbia; Richard (Debbie), Three Mile Plains; Buddy, Martock and Bruce (Pauline), Ardoise; and sister, Mabel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by brother, James and sister, Jenny Brown. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317). A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronnie may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association (Nova Scotia Division).
