MacInnis, Ronald Stewart "Ronnie"
Age 75, of Hantsport, passed away peacefully Friday, February 3, 2017 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was a son of the late Ronald Sr. and Olla (Stewart) MacInnis.
Ronnie loved fishing, hunting and just being in the woods. He enjoyed skeet shooting and was a member of the Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club. Ronnie was employed at CKF Inc, retiring after 45 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Faye Pitts; daughters, Karen Moore, Shelley (Tim) Marsh and Vicki (Tim) Hartenhof; granddaughters, Jessica Moore (Anthony Connors), Rebecca (Trevor) Levy, Madeline and Evelyn Hartenhof; great-grandsons, Hayden, Charlie and Brock; three step-grandsons and one step-great grandson; brother, David (Chalene); sisters, Jean (Joseph) Doucette; Linda MacInnis; sister-in-law, Joyce MacInnis; aunts, Frena Harvie and Verne Harvey and uncle, Keith (Joyce) MacInnis.
Besides his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by his brother, Lennie.
After all his years with a family of women, he was so happy to spend many wonderful hours with his great grandsons.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside interment service will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Hants Border Community Hall, 13893 Hwy 1, Hants Border.
