Obituary of Natalie M. Ward

WARD (Johnstone), Natalie May - 58, Cambridge Station, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Monday, May 7, 2012, at home. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of T. Abner Johnstone, Kentville, and the late Mary E. (Schofield) Johnstone.Natalie had been employed at Valley Flyer Services for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing games on the computer. Natalie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and was especially devoted to her grandchildren. She had attended the Covenanters Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Cambridge Station.Besides her father, Natalie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kelvin E. Ward, Cambridge Station; sons, William "Bill", Somerset; Isaac (Emily Mullins), Saint John, N.B.; daughters, Tammy, Berwick; Jessica, Kentville; grandchildren, Nathan, Rose and James; brothers, Clifford (Lottie), Lakeville; Tommy, Kentville; sisters, Fredda (Brian) Sinyard, Cambridge Station; Margo Johnstone, Waterville; Mary Benjamin, Lakeville; Abigail Benjamin, Berwick; Elizabeth Johnstone, Kentville; Wendy (David) Kennedy, Wolfville; several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael.Arrangements have been entrusted to Bryce Johnstone and DeMont Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service (902-538-8317). There will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, in the Covenanters Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 6185 Hwy No. 1, Cambridge Station. The Rev. Kevin Carter officiating, with a reception to follow.
