Dear Connie and all your family,
Red and I were shocked and saddened when we heard of Richard's sudden passing. It was JUST Friday night that he was dancing at the Legion. I ALWAYS enjoyed a nice 'polka' with Richard. Cherish all your wonderful memories and lean on each other for support. Unfortunately,we are unable to be with you today to help celebrate Richard's life. We will be thinking about you and will keep you in our prayers.

So many funny memories of Richard at Navy League. His hands up in the air when I would remind him of paperwork, his smirk when I flubbed it up. Minestrone soup for all....eh Connie.
But mostly his pride in 'his' kids as they grew, learned, and shone. He was a Dad to every kid in the corp. His pride was brightest when he was talking of you all. His love, his life.
