PEACH, Mary Margaret
Age 95, of Falmouth, Hants Co. It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Windsor Forks on December 13, 1921 she was a daughter of the late George and Bessie (Benedict) Boyd.
Mary was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, Upper Falmouth. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mom's days were dedicated to raising her family and working on the dairy farm. Mom will be remembered for her deep love of family and friends, her generosity and her spirit for life. She took great pride in all her family achievements. Mom loved to work in her flower gardens and was very particular about keeping things neat and tidy.
Mary is survived by her son, Raymond (Dona); daughters, Bessie (Don) Sanford, Jean (Bob) Bailey, Mary (Bob) Spares, Sandra (Dennis) Slauenwhite; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Dempsey and Minnie Greeno. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold; daughter-in-law, Beatrice; brothers, Robert, Joseph and John; sisters, Matilda, Blanche, Lillian, Dorothy, Marjorie and Kathleen.
The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the Staff of Windsor Elms Village, especially on Meadowview 2, for all of their excellent and compassionate care shown to Mom over the five years she was a resident.
