I realize that I’m a bit late. Having just recently returned from a trip I can’t help but remember our chance meeting at the Punta Cana airport in early April. Dick still had that twinkle in his eyes reminding me of his fun-loving side and his mischievous sense of humour. However what I really remember are the good times on Herman’s Island and the Lunenburg Yacht Club and
his and your friendship for JB. Priceless! So I mourn with you for your loss. I hope that everyone is okay. I wish you and family the best.

Phillip first knew Dick through the Windsor Curling Club. I got to know him once we joined Gyros. We always enjoyed chatting with him. I learned so much from him as he shared stories and history of the town and surrounding area. He knew so many people and had such a great memory. Many will remember his famous punch. Our deepest sympathy on your loss with Dick's passing, I was glad I was able to see him for the last time during my visit on Thursday.I known Dick since we arrived in Windsor in 1970 through Gyros and many Windsor and area activities, he will be sorely missed. Some of us were hopeful that his health would turn around but it was not to be. We share in your loss and please extend our condolences to Steve, Colin and Blair and the rest of the family.
Regrettably, I will be unable to attend the visitation and funeral next week-end as I will be in the hospital recovering from a knee replacement operation.

To the whole Taylor family, we are so sorry for your loss. Dick Taylor was a common name around my house growing up with my Dad, Earle Crowe having worked for Avonian Motors for many years. I have many fond memories of times spent at the Taylor cottage at Evangeline Beach. The first snowmobile I ever drove was Dick's Skidoo Olympique. Also the first boat I ever drove was Dick's red Pacesetter with the 40 hp Evinrude. My dad tuned those up for Dick every year. My dad had great respect for all the Taylor family and now our condolences are with the Taylor family.
