Our deepest sympathy to Helen’s family, especially Heather, Janice and Frankie and their families. I have such fond memories of our visits as a child and again for a few games of scrabble when our son attended CBU. No matter the time of day we visited, Helen always insisted we stay for one of her wonderful meals. Her energy, smile and hospitality were surpassed only by the kindness she had for others. We are keeping her family close in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers during this sad time.

Frank, Heather, Janice and family,
I've known Helen for as long as I can remember and I can't think of one time when she didn't have a smile on her face.
With the slight exception of that one time when she came up to our place at two in the morning to pick up Frank for undisclosed reasons, she was the happiest person I've ever met. To this day I remember sleepy Sunday mornings at the Duncanson house and can still taste her homemade blueberry pancakes.
Helen saw the good in everyone and everything. To me, to live that long and be that happy is pretty well a perfect life.

Condolences on the passing of your Mom; Frank, Janice & Heather and families. Helen was one of the sweetest, most wonderful people you could ever meet. She was always so kind to me in spite of my constant teasing. Going down to Porter's store and seeing your mom working was such a joy. She just always could put a smile on my face. You were so privileged to have such a loving, caring, warm-hearted mother like Helen. They don't come much better then her and the world is a lesser place without her. Rest in peace Helen, you had a positive affect on everyone who met you!

To Helen's family: We were so shocked to hear of Helen's sudden passing. We always had a great chat with Helen when we went to the REAL Residence to visit my Dad, John. We just can't imagine going there and not seeing her knitting in her chair. She just recently knit a very tiny pair of her special slippers for our latest family member born in January this year and they will be treasured because they were made by such a special lady. Please know we grieve with you and know Helen has touched so many lives in such a positive way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Sincerely from the Family of John Morse of REAL Residence. (Beth, Martha, Eric, Tim, Larry and Adam)
