Obituary of John William McNeil

92, Windsor, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor.

Born June 1, 1925, John was a son of the late R. Roy and Kate (O’Brien) McNeil and was raised on the family farm on College Road. He had a passion for horses and loved working in the woods.

John is survived by his chosen family, Kevin, Holly and Brendan Fletcher; and several cousins, especially Cheryl Palmer.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his only brother, Joe.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, Windsor, NS (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, February 27 in the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Father David Curry officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
