Obituary of Patricia Gail "Pat" Church

CHURCH, Patricia Gail "Pat" (Leopold) 

Age 68, of Vaughan, Hants Co., passed away peacefully, with family by her side on June 15, 2018 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor on October 11, 1949, Pat was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Mason) Leopold.

Pat worked as an Avon representative for many years, receiving many different awards. She enjoyed traveling, going for long drives and visiting her relatives as often as possible. When not babysitting, her quiet time was spent knitting and crocheting as well as scratching Crossword and Bingo tickets hoping for the big win.

Pat is survived by her husband, Allan “Buck”; daughter, Angela, New Zealand; son, Richard (Christa), Vaughan; sisters, Debbie (Gary) Ettinger, Martock; Janet Oulton, British Columbia; Elaine Collicutt (Lee Langille), Blockhouse; Judy (Mike) Lunn, Liverpool; Heather (Jim) Boylan, Martock; Sherry (Troy) Hubley, Bridgewater; Crystal (Greg) Laffin, Mill Section; brothers, Wayne (Wanda Turk), Upper Vaughan; Burt (Darlene), Chester; Perry (Melanie), Alberta; Kirby (Posha Robertson), Brooklyn; grandchildren, Morgan (Jordan Melanson) and Jordon Church, Vaughan and Paige Gardiner, New Zealand; along with many nieces and nephews.

Pat was predeceased by her father, Clarence (1987); mother, Lillian (2010); sister, Lisa Marie, in infancy (1969).

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where the family will receive visitors on Monday, June 18 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 19 in DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating.
