Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Jean Kenneally

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, yet peaceful, passing of our wife, mom and nanny on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at home. Pat was 63 years of age and lived in Canaan, Kings Co. Born in Berwick, on January 4, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and H. Jean (Pineo) Swindell.

Pat graduated from Acadia University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. She went on to work at the Sanatorium and BFM Hospital as a Dietician and Food Services Supervisor. She loved to travel and made many friends from all over the world. Barbados was her second home. She loved to read and was always surrounded by books. Cooking and decorating for Christmas were some of her other passions. Most of all Pat loved her family and was a very proud mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, F. Brian Kenneally; daughter, Erin Kenneally Floyd, Wolfville; adored grandchildren, Victoria Kenneally, Harrison and Benjamin Floyd; sister, Cathy Swindell, New Minas; numerous extended family members.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). An informal drop in open house celebrating Pat’s life will be held in the Louis Millett Community Complex, 9489 Commercial Street, New Minas on Saturday, October 20 from 1 - 3 p.m. Feel free to drop in at any point to visit with the family and pay your respects.
