Obituary of Joan Betty Vincent

VINCENT, Joan Betty

Age 84, of Dykeland Lodge,Windsor, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora (Simpson) Ferguson. 

Joan was a loving mother to Kenneth (Nancy) Vincent and John (Deborah) Vincent. She was a proud Nanny to ShaunaLee (Philip) Vincent-Slaunwhite, Kristine (Jacob) Stewart and step-granddaughter, Karen (Brad) Carrigan. A great grandmother to Emma and Charlotte; in which she adored. Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Charles Vincent Sr. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St. Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation. A private graveside funeral will be held on August 30, 2019 for family. Donations in Joan’s memory may be made to Hants Community Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, 89 Payzant Dr., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
