Obituary of George Douglas "Doug" Sabean

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George Douglas "Doug" Sabean, 82, of Windsor. Surrounded by his loving family, Doug passed away on August 31, 2019, at Hants Community Hospital. 

Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late George and Susie (Bowman) Sabean. 

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anita (Hurley); his daughters, Linda (John) Brownless and Brenda (Glenn) Williams; his grandchildren, Jenna Williams (Mitchell Myles), Nicole (Adrian) Parker, Tyler Brownless (Taylor Davis) and Connor Brownless; his great grandchildren, Keaton and Reese Parker; Blake and Landon Myles; siblings, Barb Thompson and Phil (Mary Jane) Sabean; and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St. Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Doug’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
