Obituary of Deborah Charlene Saunders

Age 69, of Windsor, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 in VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late George and Josephine (Keddy) Caldwell.
Debbie was a beautiful lady who touched everyone she ever met with her loving and kind heart. She was a devoted mom and loved her grandbabies unconditionally, she was so proud of all of them. She also loved her “sisters of hope” and the Lord. Debbie enjoyed yardsales, thrift stores and getting a good bargain. She was a prize-winning pickle maker.
She is survived by sons, John (Tanya), Brooks, AB; Chad (Lisa), Windsor; daughter, Tessa Saunders (Randy), Burlington; grandchildren, John and Jordan Saunders, Samantha Fraser (Chris), Dylan Gazley, Cody Saunders; brothers, Stirling Caldwell, Belmont; Alison (Karen) Caldwell, Brooklyn; Kenton (Linda) Caldwell, Scotch Village.
Besides her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, John Saunders Sr; grandson, Devon Saunders and sister, Jeanette Crossley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, Windsor (902-798-8317). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date.
